I hope we see a photo next year of exactly that — both of you on that cruise, smiling with the collective radiance of every bright moment from those 45 (46!) years. Best to you.

May you and your true Love enjoy remarkably smooth healing. 🙏

May your cruise be sweet and restful.

May you both always be as healthy as you possibly can be. 😊

My heart goes out to you and your beautiful wife but I'm glad you continue to see good things coming. Thirty years ago this upcoming December, I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer. The docs told me that five years prior, the two-year survival rate was zero percent. Yet here I am, still kicking it! Keep the faith and no that miracles happen every day.

Happy Anniversary! I hope it helps to know your invisible army out here is backing you up during this journey and wishing you both many more milestones ahead to celebrate. All the best!

You and your wife WILL take that cruise. I was first diagnosed with a rare cancer with a killer reputation—Leiomyosarcoma; 16 years ago. There have been several times when a bad CT scan has made me think, “Oh,oh. I might not have much time left,” or, at the least, “my life going forward will never be the same.”

Well yes, my life has changed, but the new normal has been manageable and the whole experience has shown me how resilient and amazing our bodies can be. Along the way I had 11 years with no evidence of disease, and even at Stage III, my husband and I went on a Norway cruise and a bus trip through Ireland. You and Marilyn have each other, and yes, she certainly has that beautiful smile. Those are a big part of the survival equation! I’ll be cheering and praying for you both.

I still believe in Santa Claus just a little, and I believe in miracles. I hope you do as well.

Wishing the best for you both on this journey. I have friends who have had a successful landing and am praying for that for you. We will be celebrating our 60th this December and have had many laughs and ups and down so your words really hit home….l’m glad you two found your way to each other for a shared life!

What memories, surrounding a center composed of your love. May you have many more (and as one who was told by five doctors I'd be dead within a year thirty-seven years back, the chance is great).

Absolutely beautiful.

May you both live long happy lives with this diagnosis just an asterisk.

Happy Anniversary! And next year we will all celebrate with you both again, this time on a cruise in the South Seas (well....you and your love will be on the cruise; i'm pretty sure it would get a bit awkward if we all showed up, too.)

Here's to many more years of joy and happiness, and good health to you both.
